Benefits for customers

Stackable appliances have two or more components to them that need fixing. This means that it will be very difficult for you to repair your stackables yourself; this is where Applince Bay Repairs come in. Here are a few benefits for you if you choose to get your appliances repaired by us.

Saves Money

Stackable appliances, like single washers and dryers, are extremely expensive. It may not be the wisest choice to get new stackables whenever your old one has problems. You can easily request a repair appointment on our website, and we will send you our trained technicians to fix that issue. This will help you save the money you would have otherwise spent on getting new stackables, and this will also help you save money on a service gone bad.

Convenient

It is very convenient to get repair services from us because we have technicians who work 24 hours daily. This means that we can work according to your schedule, book an appointment for a time you are completely free, and we will send our workers at that time.

It is also very easy to book an appointment because you can book one through our website or call us on our number.

Safe

Safety should be the utmost priority of any homeowner because you need to ensure no fires or electric issues happen in your home. If you try to fix your stackables yourself, you may risk doing something wrong, leading to safety issues. Hence, hiring us would also ensure the utmost safety for you.

Problems

As practical as they seem, Stackables have many problems as you start using them. We have listed down some of these problems.

Space And Size Issues

There are stack set dryer & washer combos in a 27-inch standard-size layout. Sadly, this width is frequently still too big to fit into a cabinet or niche. Although they have a lower load capacity, 24-inch models of stack set dryers and washers are also available. Compared to separate washers and dryers, stack sets are less feature-rich.

Doors Not Closing Properly

The doors of your stackable appliances could get ruined because their rubbers or something else must have been ruined. This is a common problem; you can contact us if you have faced this issue with your stackables

Leakage

Leakage is another common problem that could occur due to blocked pipes or other issues.

Risk Of Fires

The vents in the stackable dryer may get heated up, especially if they are front loading only. This issue is that vents often get clogged by debris and other dirt. This could lead to severe problems for your stackables as major fires could occur. Contact us if your stackables are getting heated up quickly.

Off on the diagnostic bill

We provide several discounts on our repair and diagnostic services. If you request diagnostic services for 2 or more units of appliances, we will offer you a 50% discount on the total bill. If you order repair services, you will get diagnostic services for free.

Useful maintenance tips

Maintenance recommendation

Keep The Doors Of Front-Loading Appliances Open Over Long Periods.

Nowadays, front-loading washers are seen in many stacked washer-dryers. These washer doors, unlike top-loaders, are tightly shut to stop water from leaking through the front aperture. However, this seal also increases the likelihood of mold growing inside the drum of front-loading washers, which is typically still moist when sealed.

This is why you should often leave the washer door open. Open the door to the washing room if it is not currently in use to let air in. Reduce the time that moisture is trapped inside the washer drum, even if damp items are waiting for their turn in the dryer.

Use HE Detergents only.

Stackable washer-dryers are typically smaller and more resource-efficient than other types of appliances. Use the appropriate detergent if your stackable laundry center is High Efficiency, denoted by a HE. High-Efficiency detergent, or HE detergent, is concentrated at double the power per litre. By doing this, you can have the same cleaning results while using less soap overall per load. In your HE stacking washer, only use HE detergent.

Make Sure to Vacuum Lint Ducts

Speaking of lint, you should clean out all the lint duct assembly once a year using the vacuum cleaner’s hose and the smallest attachment end. Pull out the lint screen and direct the vacuum hose down into the area you just cleaned. This region is constantly clogged with lint and may eventually get blocked. Also, roughly once a year, you should inspect and clean away any potential lint obstructions in the silver tube outlet pipe behind the unit.
